{ FIRST CHANGE DETAILS }

• Paralysis is instantaneous and complete. Both the growth of the tail and the wasting of her legs and pelvis are gradual, and will culminate in the “burst” transformation at the beginning of the second set of changes two weeks later.
• The paralysis doesn’t extend to the muscles and tissue necessary for elimination. Thank god.
• Leg bones and muscle will atrophy and necrose distally to proximally. Most of the tissue will be reabsorbed for use in building new organs, tail, bones, etc. Pelvis will not completely regress and will leave a pelvic girdle, found in some pythons.
• Tail will grow by adding caudal and lumbar vertebrae and will include a second ribcage down its length. Unlike her shrinking legs, her tail will be completely innervated.
• Lower body will also lengthen and bloat a bit as an additional stomach, extra intestines, and a secondary heart will grow.
• Eczema-skin patches are extremely itchy and will begin to flake off, revealing smooth scales underneath. These patches of scales occur on her back, around her eyes, her shoulders, her elbows, across her breasts, and the tops of her hands. Ventral scales begin just bellow the bellybutton.

{ SECOND CHANGE DETAILS }

• “Burst” transformation is the final part of her naga anatomy. Her tail and lower body completely fuse, her organs move around, and her digestive and urogenital systems migrate to her final positions.
• Claws are sharp and erupt from the nailbed
• Eyes bleed profusely as they rearrange; temporary blindness (duration of a few hours) occurs
• Hair filaments have muscle attachments and can be moved around
• Ectothermia sets in. While not completely reliant on external sources for heat, her ability to thermoregulate, specifically in cold weather, is drastically reduced. Her ability to cool herself when too hot remains about the same. Her basal metabolic rate goes down, which also reduces her heart rate and respiration.

{ THIRD CHANGE DETAILS }

• Teeth remain more or less human, but gain sharp points and edges. Retractable fangs rest in grooves in the hard palate and are freely moveable. Venom sacs are under conscious control by skeletal muscle.
• Venom is hemotoxic. It causes hemolysis of blood cells and extreme tissue and organ damage, disrupts blood clotting, and predigests tissue.
• Muscles around the jaw loosen and become more malleable and stretchy. Mandible can completely dislocate from the temporal bone and maxilla, allowing her to swallow things as large as her own head. Jaw can be popped back into place with muscle action.
• Epiglottis enlarges and lengthens cranial to the larynx. This stretchy tube is enforced with complete cartilaginous rings and can extrude slightly from her mouth to facilitate breathing while swallowing a large meal. It is visible when she opens her mouth, ventral to her esophagus.
• Tongue becomes less muscular. At rest and when speaking, it remains fairly rounded, but when extended, it becomes approximately 8 inches long and thinner. It is forked at the end. Inside of mouth, tongue, gums, etc are all bright blue-green.
• Jacobsen’s organ allows for detection of minute chemical signals in air and water, and works more efficiently in water. Side by side lateral receptors allow for the localization of chemicals.
• Heat pits located under her eyes allow for the detection of infrared/heat. These pits are physiologically identical to those of crotaline snakes.

{ FOURTH CHANGE DETAILS }
[CURRENT STAGE]

• Travel form resembles a large, thin Sri Lankan pit viper. Filamentous “antenna hair” scales are present. Mouth and tongue bright blue.
• Petrifying stare requires direct eye contact to work, and does not occur unless her concentration isn’t broken. Pupils glow white from within when this power is in action. Causes vanilla humans to turn to stone with three minutes of undisturbed staring. Stare can also cause paresis in monsters
• Extra teeth are extremely sharp and curved backwards. They line her hard and soft palate dorsally, and her caudal gums and proximal esophagus ventrally. They are slightly movable.
• Venom spit range of up to five feet

{ FOG FORM }

• Body completely scaled from head to tail, with the same pattern as tail
• Longer claws (talons) on fingers
• Snake-like facial features; wider mouth, muzzle-like face
• All teeth curved and python-like with moveable fangs
• The ability to swallow a small human whole
• “Hair” made of snake tails. Her antenna filaments are replaced with the other end of the snake, including fully functional eyes, venom glands, and rudimentary brains.
• Two of the snake tails have mesmerizing rattles. The sound of the rattles entrances and mesmerizes vanilla humans, drawing them closer as long as the sound is occurring. It is very distracting to monsters, especially those with enhanced hearing.
• Ears reduced to holes

{ BASILISK FORM }

• Approximately 35 feet long from head to tail
• Venomous fangs allow for the predigestion of food. Jaw can unhinge to swallow prey whole.
• Stare is capable of petrifying humans and, to a lesser extent, monsters. Eyes glow when this ability is being used.
• Frill of feather-like scales with eyespots that can mesmerize prey, not unlike the rattles in her fog form.
• A sharp blade-like barb on the end of her tail
• The ability to burrow through the ground without issue using her first and second pairs of limbs. She can also burrow through thin layers of stone and concrete, such as through road beds.
• The ability to move very quickly over land by using all three pairs of legs
